The fourth album from Swedish rockers Crucified Barbara sees the all female outfit getting serious with some taboo subjects in rock n' roll such as sexism and the dark serious nature of rape.

Opener 'I Sell My Kids For Rock 'N Roll' sees Crucified Barbara proving the point of how dedicated the girls are to their art in a music scene that in some quarters is still regarded as male territory. Mia Blackheart snarls her way throughout.

The ball breaking 'To Kill A Man' is a hard hitting and thought provoking number with a neat Slayer style building riff. Based on a true story from their homeland in Sweden, the song tackles the seriousness of how people in a high level of trust can get away with the awful crimes of rape.

But it's not all doom and gloom as Crucified Barbara rock out better when they take their foot of the anger pedal and let the creative juices flow on the easy going 'Electric Sky' which has the energy of Girlschool in their prime.

Title track 'In The Red' and 'Lunatic #1' are whiskey enthused party anthems whilst 'Follow The Stream' is a reminder of how Crucified Barbara are at the forefront of tackling issues not normally associated within the Metal fraternity.
