Those Tamworth Terrors Wolfsbane return to their headline their first full UK Tour in seventeen years in support their new album 'Save The World'.
Wolfsbane have always been a marmite band – you seem to love them or hate them but one thing that can't be denied is the power of their live shows. Four songs from the new album were presented here tonight including 'Did It For The Money' (the title track from last year's EP), 'Blue Sky' and the excellent 'Smoke And Red Light' which received warm applause from the audience.

To be fair, the albums been out less than a week so these new songs are unfamiliar to most fans at the moment, but there were plenty of classic tracks to make this a great night.
The rabid HMS's down the front were treated to 'Black Lagoon', 'Totally Nude', 'I Like It Hot' and the under-rated and rarely played live 'Broken Doll', as well as the usual suspects of 'Paint The Town Red', 'Kathy Wilson', 'Money To Burn' and it wouldn't be a Wolfsbane gig without vocalist Blaze Bayley singing 'Manhun', standing atop the crowd barrier urging everyone in the room to get their hands in the air!
Wolfsbane may not have the biggest following in the world and should have been bigger than they were in their heyday in the early 1990s but at least the band still put on a storming good show that's always value for money.
