'Live Fast Die Loud'
(Rat Pack Records)
Beasto Blanco was formed in 2012 by vocalist Chuck Garric, who is best known for playing bass with Alice Cooper, along with guitarist Chris Latham from Paper Back Hero.
It has to be said that I had been waiting a while to hear this album, having heard of the band through various sources. It's a power driven mean machine rock n' roll band and each track is a sonic blast from the off.
'ILL Nostro Spirito' introduces the album in a kind of western tinged manner. Kicking in loud and fast and blending nicely from this comes the track 'Beasto Blanco'. I would definitely say that this has punchy guitar riffs and thumping drums of a power rock band that means business, and conjures images of a horror slasher movie.

Each track is a great move from the former one. 'California' begins with harmonised guitars, the drums crash in and the bass guitar is more visible in the mix. The lyrics emphasise a thought of life in the state of dreams, a cliche dream that most have of fame and fortune. Chuck's growling vocals just hit you like a truck.
'Motor Queen' has a very industrial sound, ideal for a club setting. Invoking the visuals of sexy girls and fast cars in different decades, definitely faster than a dragster and has to be turned up to full volume to appreciate the power.
Title track 'Live Fast Die Loud' is a true rocker about living fast, as the title suggests. Tiffany Lowe provides the freaky female vocals in the middle of the song and she can definitely scream.
'Live Fast Die Loud' is an album that will have you dancing or head banging and whether you hear it in a club or at home, you should just crank the volume to full. A very good effort and I look forward to seeing them play live.
