The festival was opened by the band Piston who auditioned 'Your May Towards Hammersonic 2014'. The venue experienced torrential rain at around 1.00am so proceedings were suspended for a short time as the dry field was turned into a muddy arena.

The rain delay was not for long and the bands again performed vigorously, as did the audience as the muddy field had no adverse effect on the moshing, headbanging and circle pit, moshpit and even a wall of death.

Impiety and Trio Suri performed before Sunset Break (Maghrib) and after the break some top Indonesian Metal bands weere electrifying; Lapangan D Senayan, among others, then consecutively Down For Life, Koil, Siksa Kubur, Jasda and Burger Kill. From the start the audience showed cool appreciation.

Origin are a death Metal band from the United States and were followed by Apocalypse Fleshgod, a technical death Metal band from Italy who made the audience jerk with their magnificent compositions that they combined with keyboard orchestration. Sadly the guitar and drum sound was not perfect which reduced the level of perfection.

After Fleshgod Apocalypse, Belphegor rocked the Sonic Stage and put in an optimal performance with maximum stage arrangements and additional images.

Then came Morbid Angel performing on the Hammer Stage. Here was an oldschool death Metal band who were the most awaited by the Metalheads that night because this night was their first ever appearance in Indonesia. Trey Azagthoth, David Vincent, Tim Yeung and Destructhor enchanted thousands of Metalheads who had been waiting a long time to see them.

The night was Hatebreed's night though because they managed to shake the masses in a big way. Jamey Jasta and his friends managed to tame the thousands of Metalheads that night. After Hatebreed it was Bullet For My Valentine's turn to entertain which they did well with their own songs and a cover of Metallica's 'Creeping Death' which was welcomed enthusiastically. BFMV have a pretty strong fanbase in Indonesia.

Finally Kretaor appeared on the Sonic Stage and directly attacked the festival with the song 'Phanthom Antichrist' which really got the crowd going.

The event finally finished at around 2:00pm. A beautiful day and night for thousands of Metalheads and hopefully Hammersonic 2015 will be just as awesome.
