Video Interview With MP4's Kevin Brennan, MP For Cardiff West
Kevin Brennan MP has been the Member Of Parliament for Cardiff West since 2001, and was a Minister Of State at both the Department For Business, Innovation And Skills and the Department For Children, Schools And Families before the 2010 General Election.
He's also the guitarist in rock band MP4, who are the first, and currently the world's only Parliamentary rock band. They have helped to raise over £1 million for charity since their first gig in February 2014. They perform at charitable events around the country and actively encourage young people to take an interest in music.
MP4 are made up of Kevin on guitar and vocals, former MP Ian Cawsey on bass guitar and vocals, The Rt Hon Sir Greg Knight MP on drums and percussion and Pete Wishart MP on keyboards and vocals.
Former Prime Ministers Tony Blair and David Cameron are supporters and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has praised the group's fund-raising efforts.
These efforts continue over these coming days with the recording of an upcoming charity single in honour of the Jo Cox Foundation. Jo died after being attacked in her constituency of Batley And Spen, West Yorkshire on 16th June and the foundation in her name will continue to campaign on behalf of the causes that Jo believed in.
Scheduled to appear on the single, a cover of The Rolling Stones classic 'You Can't Always Get What You Want', are KT Tunstall, Ricky Wilson from Kaiser Chiefs, Steve Harley, David Gray and the one and only Suzi Quatro.
