TARJA REVEALS HER SHADOW SELF AFTER THE BRIGHTEST VOID
Symphonic rock Queen Tarja Turunen's new full length album, 'The Shadow Self', is out on earMUSIC on August 5th. Tarja was in London recently where she headlined the Rock On Green concert held at the Forum in London.
The following day she treated fifty very lucky fans to a stunning, intimate show at the Metropolis Studios in London where she performed a different set list featuring many new songs from both 'The Shadow Self' and the prequel EP 'The Brightest Void' which was released at the beginning of June. The event was filmed for a future DVD release.

The following day, on a stormy day in Camden, Tarja spoke to us at length about her prequel EP 'The Brightest Void' which features guests Michael Monroe and drummer Chad Smith and the reasons why she chose to cover Shirley Bassey's 'Goldfinger' and Paul McCartney's 'House Of Wax'.
