11th July 2017

Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper's will make their UK comeback with a show at the Metal Brew Festival at Barnet Rugby Club on Saturday 15th July.

Steve was taken seriously ill in January this year whilst the band were in Ecuador and this resulted in Steve having most of his right leg amputated after an operation to stem an aggressive infection failed.

Since then he has taught everyone the meaning of perseverance and positivity and just six months later is ready to get back on stage. A hero's welcome awaits for what is set to be an amazing show.

Steve Grimmett says:

"I'm excited as hell to be returning to the stage. It's what I love to do, but it has to be done in a careful manner. I have to find out what I can and can't do for the time being so there won't be many gigs this year as I still have eighteen months recovery to go through with more hospital and rehabilitation appointments and it's still all hard work in front of me but I feel I can say 'I'm back'.

Also on the bill will be the pioneers of Folk Metal, Skyclad. Joining them will be be the true Metal sound of Seven Sisters, the forerunners of UK crust punk Agnosy plus doom Metallers Vodun, Blind River, party stoners The Grudge and Gnob plus the resurrection of thrashers Doctor Death.

The full stage times have been published - see ya down the front.
