OPETH AND ORANGE GOBLIN TO PLAY HIGH VOLTAGE FESTIVAL
High Voltage are delighted to announce that Opeth will be playing the Prog Stage of the Victoria Park, London Festival.
OPETH are one of the heavy genres' most revered and respected bands. The Swedish five piece, led by Mikael Akerfeldt, released their critically acclaimed ninth album, 'Watershed', in 2008.
2010 is the 20th anniversary of the band and High Voltage will be the only UK festival the band play this year.
The latest additions add to an already stellar lineup that will run across two days and three stages – Main Stage, Prog Stage and Metal Stage.

Adding to the already fantastic line up on the Metal Hammer stage, High Voltage is pleased to announce ORANGE GOBLIN, a legendary name among fans of stoner rock.
Led by the giant Ben Ward, these road-hardened veterans lay on the heavy riffs like Black Sabbath in their prime.
NEW DEVICE are a classically-styled hard rock band based in the South-East of England whose sounds has been compared to Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith and Metallica, and we are delighted they are playing High Voltage festival.
Their debut album is due for release in 2010.
