Neil will begin his sentence on February 15th. He will plead guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol at Las Vegas Justice Court on January 26.
Neil said: "I have recognised that you can't drink and drive at all. I take full responsibility for my actions and will learn from this experience."
This will be the second time Neil has gone to jail for drink-driving. The first was in 1984 when he was banged up for thirty days for vehicular manslaughter after he lost control of a car and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
Former Hanoi Rocks drummer Razzle was in the passenger seat and was killed in the incident and the two occupants of the other car were seriously injured and suffered brain damage.
