Archive. First published: 24 March 2011. Good Thinking, from East London, have recorded a single in tribute to late Warrior Soul drummer Mark Evans.
The song is called ‘Warrior Soul’, in honour of Evans who spent time in the 1990s with the band of the same name. He appeared on their first three albums, but was murdered in January 2005 after he returned to London.
Marc Ring, guitarist/vocalist of Good Thinking said this about the song: “It was difficult writing a song about someone who we haven’t had much contact with for a long, long time, but what we tried to do was to pay our respects to a guy who made it in the music business”.
