Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has turned down an offer to be a judge on the UK version of The Voice.
The reality show has just finished a successful first season and is due to launch in the UK on the BBC later this year. The US version of the show had Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera as it's judges.
Producers are currently recruiting the UK judging panel but Bruce will most definitely not be involved.

The UK producers were given short shrift when they approached Bruce, who said of The Voice: "That show sounds so crap and demeaning to everyone involved, I took great delight in turning the BBC down.
"The X Factor is appalling enough; it's no better than Opportunity Knocks."
The Voice has been linked with several singers for the judging panel, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Cheryl Cole and Adele.
