Hevy are also pleased to announce the finalists for the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage at Hevy 2012! Now in it's sixth year, Red Bull Bedroom Jam has gone from strength to strength, each year providing bands with the best opportunities to take themselves to the next level.

Just to get you even more excited - here is some information on some After Hours Action at Hevy Fest. Notorious UK club-night UPRAWR will be bringing their monstrous brand of alternative mayhem to Hevy, when they take over the Rock Sound Stage for the late-night sessions on Friday and Saturday.

The Punktastic Stage will be hijacked by two of London's heavyweight club-nights - Whatever Happened to P-Rock and Last Resort. Both will go head to head on Friday and Saturday night, unleashing the finest in Punk, Pop-Punk, Emo, Metal, Nu-Metal and Post-Hardcore - in what is set to be the ultimate DJ battle. This is Last Resort Vs. P-Rock - exclusively at Hevy 2012.

Returning for the fourth year, Hevy is back in 2012 to own your summer! Taking place at Hevy's home of Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent, we will be unleashing over 80 incredible bands across four stages, with a ferocious line-up covering all corners of Hardcore, Punk, Metal and Rock.

Over the last few years Hevy has seen monstrous performances from some of the greatest bands on the planet including The Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw, Four Year Strong, Gallows, The Bronx, Architects, Comeback Kid, Funeral For A Friend and Fucked Up as well as bringing the most exciting new bands to a festival stage, often for the first time, with insane appearances from Trash Talk, Defeater, Ceremony, Touche Amore, Title Fight, La Dispute, Your Demise, While She Sleeps, Lower Than Atlantis, Deaf Havana, More Than Life and countless more....

Hevy Music Festival 2012, 3rd - 6th August, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, Kent



Here's a fabulous Aerosmith pictorial document as seen through the lens of famed British photographer Tony Mottram. Tony photographed the band over many years for various magazines and now has a monthly column here on MetalTalk.

As was often the case, only one photo ever got published and in the fast moving world of weekly magazines sometimes entire sessions would be done and left undeveloped.

Tony started shooting Aerosmith from towards the end of the period with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay and onwards through the return of original members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford that resulted in the albums 'Done With Mirrors', 'Permanent Vacation' and 'Pump'.


As well as shooting the band several times in England, this collection includes images from a session at the band's rehearsal room in Boston. Littered throughout is a mixture of live and off stage photos including a selection of photos taken at London's famous Marquee club when they were joined on stage by Jimmy Page.

This limited edition hardback book, presented in a flight case and printed on silk paper, is an opportunity to own a unique selection of photos, most of which have never seen the light of day before.
