David Garner originally hooked up with Quartz in 1981 and worked on the 'Against All Odds' sessions but left before final recording took place.
Quartz have said they are glad to be back after the back after the band ceased in 1983, something they now regret, so they are working on new material and have been booked to play 'Keep It True' in Germany 2013.
There are other gigs being looked at and all up to date info will appear on their official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/QuartzBackintheBand.
One song that sums up the feeling in the camp at present according to the lads is their 1980 track 'Stand Up And Fight'
