THE TREATMENT ANNOUNCED AS SUPPORT ON STATUS QUO REUNION GIGS
6th February 2013

the treatment

Cambridge five-piece, The Treatment, have been confirmed as special guests on the upcoming Status Quo reunion live shows.

The band, who toured Europe with Steel Panther last year and guested with Kiss and Motley Crue on the hottest US rock tour of 2012, are understandably elated about being added to the nine date Quo tour.

The band said: "...our legs have gone all trembly, we're on our way to Wembley! We are delighted to have been confirmed as the main support for the Status Quo Frantic Four reunion tour in March."

The band released their debut album 'This Might Hurt' in September 2011, and followed this up with an five track EP in April 2012 called 'Then And Again', which included covers of songs by Slade, Canned Heat and the Electric Light Orchestra.

Status Quo's reunion tour is one of the most highly anticipated tours of the 2013, with Quo stalwarts Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt taking to the stage with ex-drummer John Coghlan and ex-bass player Alan Lancaster for the first time in thirty years performing a set list based around their classic 1977 'Live' album so expect 'Junior's Wailing', 'Caroline', In My Chair', 'Roll Over Lay Down', 'Forty-Five Hundred Times' and 'Rain'.

This series of dates truly is a one off for Status Quo with fans travelling from all over the world to catch them on their limited run but after these dates, Status Quo will continue to tour with the current line up of Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John 'Rhino' Edwards and a new drummer yet to be announced to replaced the recently departed Matt Letley.
