As previously announced, Metal Mind Productions will release Doogie White's debut solo release this Autumn.

The album called 'As Yet Untitled' is a collection of ten dramatic and hard hitting rock songs co-written by Doogie and some good friends he has made over the years on the rock scene. Track 'Time Machine' promotes the album and is now available to stream below.

Doogie White: "'Time Machine' was written by Paul Logue and myself. I was having my Dr Who moment. If you could go back what would you change? I try not to have dirt on the back of my shoes or dwell on the past, but I guess we all have moments when we think 'What if?' Bridges get burned, some get rebuilt and some just get carried by the river to the sea and float away never to be seen again. But if you could relive that moment, that secret special moment, just for one day, how magical it might be?"

The list of guest musicians involved in the recording of 'As Yet Untitled' looks impressive: Drums - Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen), Thomas Broman (Glenn Hughes); Keyboards - Derek Sherinian (Black Country Communion), Tony Carey (Rainbow); Bass - Neil Murray (Whitesnake), Greg Smith (Ted Nugent), Paul Logue (Edens Curse); Guitars - Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall), Marcus Jidell (Royal Hunt), Phil Hilborne (Queen Musical), Mick Tucker (Tank); Guest vocals - Patti Russo (Meatloaf, Cher).

The album was recorded at various studios in Florida, Germany, and Scotland but most of the production was handled in Sweden with Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) at the helm.

Metal Mind Productions set the release date for the 24th of October in Europe and the 8th of November in USA (via MVD).

NOW AEROSMITH FANS CAN HAVE THEIR NAME IN FUTURE COLLECTOR'S ITEM

aerosmith

Here's a fabulous Aerosmith pictorial document as seen through the lens of famed British photographer Tony Mottram. Tony photographed the band over many years for various magazines and now has a monthly column here on MetalTalk.

As was often the case, only one photo ever got published and in the fast moving world of weekly magazines sometimes entire sessions would be done and left undeveloped.

Tony started shooting Aerosmith from towards the end of the period with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay and onwards through the return of original members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford that resulted in the albums 'Done With Mirrors', 'Permanent Vacation' and 'Pump'.

As well as shooting the band several times in England, this collection includes images from a session at the band's rehearsal room in Boston. Littered throughout is a mixture of live and off stage photos including a selection of photos taken at London's famous Marquee club when they were joined on stage by Jimmy Page.

This limited edition hardback book, presented in a flight case and printed on silk paper, is an opportunity to own a unique selection of photos, most of which have never seen the light of day before.
