VICE PRESENTS: MARSHALL HEADPHONES ON THE ROAD 14th October 2011
Today VICE and Marshall Headphones premieres episode four of 'On The Road'. In this episode Jesse investigates the ladies on the road, and finds out how it is to be involved in such a male dominated world and how women deal with the 'boys' club'.
First up, Jesse goes to the Museum of Death, with one of his heroes and mentors, Ian Astbury of The Cult. They talk about roadies and their behavior on the road; including how women are treated in the world of rock 'n' roll. Jesse then goes and talks to three women who know more about the business than most: Megan Tobin, ex-lighting tech for the likes of Metallica, Michael Jackson and Guns 'n' Roses, Patty Schemel, ex-drummer for Hole and Laura-Jean Hyde who has worked on tours with the likes of Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. The three women shed light on some pretty crazy stories that they have witnessed whilst touring with some of the great legends.
