The Prodigy will headline on Friday 8th June, Metallica Saturday 9th June and the original line-up of Black Sabbath - featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward - will close the festival on Sunday 10th June. This will be Sabbath's only appearance next year.

Metallica, meanwhile, will be treating Download to an exclusive UK performance of their best-selling, number one album 'Metallica' ('The Black Album').
The Prodigy will be bringing a mixed set to Donington 2012, with plenty of classics plus some new tracks. This will be the third time they've played Download but the first time they'll be playing the main stage.
