The legendary rock-superiority, which are known as the inventors and leaders of the so-called 'nu Metal'-genre, made an impressive career with bombastic, innovative sound-blockbusters and with a sensational discography burned into the history-books of music. KOЯN, one of the most tremendous bands of our time, which still know how to enchain their listeners. Emotional, aggressive and experimental are only a few great characteristics of this monumental US-combo. This popular heavy-quartet mixes up massive Metal with hip-hop grooves, dashing US-rock and atmospheric industrial/electronic-components, creating a first-class acoustic-experience. Now the godfathers of classical nu Metal join Metalcamp to rock together with all of you and to enjoy the pure holiday-feeling there.

So its time for Steelwing to catch your Metal-souls and present their brandnew material with damned big balls live on stage. In the past the band already show us, that they got the true Metal spirit by mother's milk. Loud, melodic guitars, storming drums and a voice, that awakes pure feelings of nostalgia, make Steelwing to a kind of modern Iron Maiden with a very special, individual flavour.
MILKING THE GOATMACHINE
The crazy horde of Milking The Goatmachine is giving you the chance to experience them at MetalCAMP 2012. As wolves in a goatskin, these maniacs from planet GoatEborg produce GoatCore non-stop and invite you to an insane roller coaster-trip through the fields of death, grind and core. Songs like 'Surf Goataragua', 'Sour Milk Boogie' or 'Milk Me Up Before I Go Go' are humorous tunes, which do not only move the horned god himself to tears. Milking The Goatmachine provide a milky sound-theatre to you. Crazy, but simply ingenious and with their new album 'Clockwork Udder' it's gonna be goatastic at Metalcamp!
With their high-class technical Death Metal compositions, Septicflesh expose their philosophical point of view, which challenge the existence of mankind in all its facets. Luckily the horde hailing from Athens does never challenge their own, high quality music, which convinces all along the line. Complex death-Metal-structures, poignant gothic-Metal-elements and symphonic experimental-insets played on the highest level count to the grandiose specialities of this fanatic sextet, who made themselves a name within the scene due to their last masterpiece 'The Great Mass'. At your upcoming headbanger's holidays, Septicflesh invite to an unforgettable musical horror-trip to get you caught in the ban of darkness.
The heathen inspired myths of Gelderland encouraged 6 brave men to follow the power of nature and join together under the shelter of Wotan. The warriors of Heidevolk proudly grace their heroic chests with thorshammers, always keeping in mind the unholy might of Ragnarök. Nevertheless there's one true target the pagan-sextette hailing from the Netherlands aims at: Heidevolk wants to write history again and this time directly at Metalcamp 2012. Armed with axes, swords and drinking horns, this faithful brothership joins the march of the century at your headbanger's holidays. Let the 'Odensjakt' begin!
They represent the flagship of Slovenian extreme Metal. Noctiferia are still in business doing mischief since the end of the 90ties. At the beginning of their career, the band was deeply rooted in raw black Metal, but later on this 5-piece got influenced by more complex and wide-ranged genres of the hard-style music. In the meanwhile Noctiferia defined their individual style, which is put together by elements of industrial, death, melodic black and highly technical Metal. After their successful tour with Swedish Metal-gods of In Flames, Noctiferia will come back to Tolmin to sweeten your holidays with proper killer-sounds.
In the middle of a battle's flames, five young soldiers rise in aim to indulge thrash Metal in the traditional old-school manner. Poignant volleys of gunfire, razorblade-like terror-riffs and a stunning thematic concept make Warbringer become the leading commander on the bludgeon-sector. Currently the band is on top with their cudgel titled 'Worlds Torn Asunder'. Now, this platoon is preparing for a dark impact serving to you at your headbanger's holidays!
There exists one band that truly hates every form of narrow-minded making music: Nexus Inferis. This dark four piece recently brought a sensational album named 'A Vision Of The Final Earth' to the world of Metal. This output is definitely not only a simple creation of music. It's 'Future Extreme Metal', a style invented by the angry men of Nexus Inferis, which is composed by a lot of different dark soundscapes. For your imagination: Nexus Inferis sound like an innovative and ingenious hybrid of Dimmu Borgir and Meshuggah. In short: Infernal killer-music meets electronic tunes and evil vocals. Hailing from England this combo gives a serious fuck about the self-created boundaries by the scene and are at war with categories and genre-limits.
You think it‘s not possible to create pure, dark atmosphere appearing in reality? Portuguese gothic/doom-Metallers Ava Inferi demonstrate, how emotional, fragile and dark the world, that surrounds us, truly is. With their last opus 'Blood Of Bacchus' the group around charming female singer Carmen Susana Simoes enkindled an amazing fire of gloomy passion and bitter-sweet romance of horror, burning through the core of the listeners' souls. Inspired by the melancholic style 'Fado', a traditional, Portuguese kind of chant, the frontwoman exposes all the grief of this world. Originally the band was founded by Norwegian black-Metal-musician Rune 'Blasphemer' Eriksen (ex-Mayhem, Aura Noir, 1349), who is responsible for the rough Metal-moments within the songs. Metalcamp 2012 definitely becomes a festival of suicidal eruptions!
Metalsteel is a young Heavy Metal band from Slovenia which was formed 10 years ago when the average age of the band members was just 14 years. The band shared the stage with bands like W.A.S.P., Helloween, Steve Lukather and played numerous clubs and festivals. So you can look forward to a true heavy Metal mass in Tolmin this year, because, Heavy Metal is their religion and rock n' roll is their way of life!
