Godsmack, the Boston-based quartet led into action by vocalist Sully Erna, have announced their return to the UK.

Last seen on these shores supporting Metallica at Earl's Court back in 2003, Godsmack have spent the nine years since upholding their status as one of the US' biggest rock acts, delivering a series of number one, platinum and gold certified albums, dominating radio airwaves and selling out arenas across the States.

Since the off, Godsmack have shown a talent for crafting hit after hit, and with a catalogue that includes hit singles like 'Awake', 'Greed', 'I Stand Alone', 'Whiskey Hangover' and 'Cryin' Like A Bitch', their only UK show of 2012 will be highly anticipated.

Says frontman Sully Erna: "Just realised that we haven't been to your country since we were there with Metallica almost 10 years ago. I'm very pleased to finally announce that Godsmack is coming back to ROCK FUCKIN LONDON. So stay tuned, and don't miss it!"

The show comes ahead of the release of their new live album, details of which will be revealed shortly.

Godsmack and guests to be announced will play London's HMV Kentish Town Forum on Wednesday 20th June and you can buy your tickets by clicking here. Hurry - they are already selling fast...
