22-year-old Norwegian seven-string guitarist/singer/songwriter The Commander-In-Chief has been confirmed for the Bloodstock Festival this year. Headlining acts include Alice Cooper, Testament and Behemoth.
She will play the Sophie Lancaster stage on Friday August 10th. She is totally stoked about being asked to perform at Bloodstock and said: "This is gonna be awesome! I am excited as hell!"

She brings with her to the stage her world class drummer Hans M (The Defiled, M.A.S.S.A.C.R.E) and her new fantastic bass player. She does all guitars and vocals herself.
Her sensational debut EP 'Evolution', released two weeks ago, is getting fantastic reviews. The 'Evolution' EP is based on four tracks, each critical on the flaws and failings of modern society and is presented via a no holds barred shred fest and is clean, crisp and perfectly driven.
The EP was produced by Sterling Winfield of Pantera fame.
The Commander-In-Chief is a feral seven-string shred master. Add to that she is also a dynamic vocalist with a four octave range. Since 2008 she's studied the old school Italian Bel Canto technique with daily singing lessons. She speaks four languages, has lived all over the world (Norway, Italy, US, UK) and plays her own Ibanez prototype seven-string Falchion.
In short, she'll rock your ass off and doesn't even expect you to know her name. Not that she ever gave it to you anyway.
