THUNDER ADD SECOND CHRISTMAS SHOW IN MANCHESTER
15th April 2012

thunder

Due to enormous public demand and fan pressure – and the fact that Thunder's first Christmas show on Friday 21st December sold out in 6 hours - the band have added a second Xmas show at the Manchester Academy on Saturday 22nd December.

The shows will stick to the now legendary Thunder Christmas Show format, featuring two sets (acoustic then full on electric), with a mix of Thunder songs and killer covers, special guests, inflatables and general festive mayhem. As in the past, the show will be recorded, and ticket buyers will receive an exclusive live CD of the highlights. Those who don't attend the show will be able to purchase a slightly different CD later on.

Going forwards, Thunder have no touring or recording plans, but have decided that they will do an annual Xmas show. It is likely that in the future they will move the show to a different venue and city each year.

Tickets for the Manchester Academy are £30.00 each (subject to booking fee) and you can get yours by clicking here.

Doors 19.30, Thunder will be onstage at 20.00. There will be two sets with break, no support.

The 2011 Xmas show CD 'Rock City 12 - The Baubles Are Back In Town' is available at www.thunderonline.com.

Fans can also check out the new Free MP3 Downloads page where you can get a song from the latest CD (as well as 9 others), for a princely nothing.

Both of the Christmas shows will be recorded. The highlights will be selected and one ticket buyer CD will be produced. For those fans who don't attend one of the shows, a second general release CD will be produced, with some of the same highlights and some others which will be available for purchase on the www.thunderonline.com website.
