The Offspring returned to the airwaves today on Friday, April 27th, with the premiere of the brand new single, 'Days Go By', on Los Angeles' KROQ Kevin and Bean show. The song is now available to stream via an Instagram-powered interactive photo calendar at Offspring.com.

Singer and guitarist Dexter Holland talks about the album 'Days Go By': "I don't know why but I felt sort of serious writing this record and when I finished I felt I needed to have a few playful songs too. Kind of both sides of the Offspring. Either way I think these songs are all going to be a lot of fun to play live."

In advance of the new album, The Offspring will play the 20th Annual KROQ Weenie Roast Y Fiesta on Saturday, Cinco De Mayo (May 5th, 2012) at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. The band will perform alongside Coldplay, Incubus, Silversun Pickups, Pennywise and more. The band is also set for a special 20th Anniversary performance of their Epitaph debut album Ignition at Alex's Bar in Long Beach, CA May 3. The Offspring will continue to tour worldwide through 2012.

The Offspring's last album, 2008s 'Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace', featured the alternative and rock radio staples 'Hammerhead' and 'You're Gonna Go Far, Kid'. Also among the band's best-known hits are the rock anthems 'Self Esteem', 'Come Out And Play (Keep 'Em Separated)' and 'The Kids Aren't Alright'.

The Huntington Beach, CA-based band has performed over 1100 shows across the globe and sold more than 36 million albums worldwide. Their 1994 release Smash remains the highest-selling album of all-time on an independent label.

The Offspring are Dexter Holland (vocals, guitar), Noodles (guitar), Greg K (bass) and Pete Parada (drums).
