NIGHTWISH SONG CHOSEN FOR OFFICIAL ANTHEM FOR ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2012

The Nightwish song ‘Last Ride Of The Day’, from their current album ‘Imaginaerum’ has been chosen as the official anthem for the upcoming hockey world championships which will take place May 4th-20th in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden.

“When I heard that we might be involved with the event, I called all the bandmembers right away, and we were all pretty excited,” says Nightwish keyboardist/mainman Tuomas Holopainen.

Nightwish have also posted a clip for ‘Planet Hell’, shot in January 2012 at SIR Studios, LA, USA which you can see below.

And the first trailer for Nightwish’s ‘Imaginaerum’ movie is out now! Turn up the volume, set your player to full-screen and enjoy!
