This could have been absolutely disastrous and it's so lucky that nobody was seriously hurt, or worst.
The celing at The Water Rats venue in King's Cross, London, collapsed seconds before a band called Israel Nash were about to soundcheck on Sunday night (October 13th).

The venue is currently undergoing emergency maintenance and repairs and the gig was forced to move to the Slaughtered Lamb at short notice.
Symptomatic, responsible for booking shows at the Water Rats say that much of the damage was merely aesthetic with the structure of the building remaining entirely unaffected.
Engineers are repairing the area, with the venue set to re-open on Friday (October 18th).
