It's Chrrrrriiiisssssttttmmmmmmaaaassss!! It's only Shamrock 'n roll but we like it.

MetalTalk's favourite watering hole, The Merton Manor Club, has got a couple of Christmas treats to fill up your stocking.

After the success of last year's New Year's Eve Hootmanay and by popular request, Paddy Goes To Holyhead return to the Manor for a evening filled with fun and booze. The Paddies feature Danny Hynes and Ian Sweeting of Weapon UK and the Praying Mantis trio of Tino and Chris Troy along with Andy Burgess.

The last time Paddy Goes To Holyhead played at this venue was for a charity evening last September along with 70s glam rockers Sweet. That night Danny Bowes and Luke Morley of Thunder guested with the band so don't be too surprised if more familiar faces appear.

The bar will be open long into the wee early hours with London Transport providing free travel just before midnight on the night buses and on the tube network which will be running until 3.00am.

On Saturday 21st December it's time to put on your best flares to celebrate the 70s with the Supersonic 70s show for a night of complete unashamed fun. Supersonic 70s play the very best cheesiest and tastiest cuts from the golden decade.

The band feature the delicious Janey Bombsell and special guest vocalist Carl Sentance with guitar licks from Greg Hart who some may know from AOR leg-ends Moritz.

With bar prices straight from the 70s, The Merton Manor Club looks set to be the perfect venue to enjoy the festive period. See ya at the bar.
