Metallica pulled off a massive surprise at their Orion Music + More Festival by performing the set fans wanted to see in a secret gig on a minor stage. During a slot that was scheduled for the mysterious band 'dehaan,' Metallica themselves appeared onstage and ripped through their 1983 debut album 'Kill 'Em All' in its entirety.
The metal goliaths were only scheduled to perform a headlining set but fans got the thrill of a lifetime when Metallica played the Vans Damage Inc. stage at 4:30 PM. It turns out that 'dehaan' is the last name of Dean Dehaan, star of Metallica's upcoming 3D film 'Through the Never.'
