Avenged Sevenfold’s 5th studio album, Nightmare, also produced by Mike Elizondo, earned them their highest ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it took the Number One spot and spawned three Number One, hit-singles “Nightmare”, “So Far Away” and “Welcome To The Family”. “Nightmare” broke radio records and was the most played current song at Rock Radio for all of 2010. Kerrang noted that it “marks the point at which the Huntington Beach crew put away childish things and became men” whilst Metal Hammer said it “should see them rightfully recognised as one of the best bands of their generation”. Rock Sound noted that it was “their greatest achievement to date”. The lead track from the album has notched up over 42 MILLION views to date, whilst the track ‘So Far Away’ is not far behind with over 39 MILLION views.

Throughout 2010 and 2011 Avenged Sevenfold toured the world nonstop. They achieved Diamond, Platinum and Gold awards for album sales in nearly a dozen countries, and have sold out arenas the world over as well as headlining some of the biggest and most prestigious music festivals playing to over one million people. Due to an overwhelming demand from the United States troops abroad, Avenged Sevenfold embarked on a USO tour in the Middle East including stops in Kuwait and Iraq .

Stay tuned for further information on Hail To The King.

As previously announced Avenged Sevenfold will play their first shows in the UK since 2011, which includes a date at Wembley Arena on December 1st 2013.
