Swedish Melodic Death Metal band Amon Amarth have confirmed two post-Bloodstock headline dates in Ireland.
The band are scheduled to play in Belfast on Tuesday 12th August and in Dublin the following evening as a finale to their show at the Bloodstock Festival. Tickets for both Irish headline shows are now on sale through all the usual outlets.

The band released their current album, 'Deceiver of the Gods' was released in June 2013 and landed at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and #19 on the Top Current Albums Chart in the USA. The album also fared better in Europe than any of the bands previous releases, reaching #67 in the UKs Official Album Chart and #4 in the Rock/Metal chart. The album also reached the Top Forty in Denmark and the Czech Republic a while in Switzerland, Austria and Sweden it made its way into the Top Ten Album Charts.
The band are currently on tour in the US before heading over to Australia to take part in the Soundwave Festival before they travel to Europe and South America taking in Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Costa Rica before returning once more to European shores.
