||CAT SCRATCH FEVER RETURNS TO THE WHITE LION

The Cat Scratch Fever event returns to rock the White Lion in Streatham on 29th March for a second time, once more in support of Music 4 Children and Streatham Cats Rescue.
With the first event generating over £1,200 in charity donations as well as a record breaking bar takings for the venue (!), Cat Scratch Fever was a hugely enjoyable success for the two charities and music fans alike.
Cult Hard Rock outfit, Stampede have been newly added to the bill.

No Quarter are aiming to top the previous event with another outstanding Rock line up, put together to support local charities Music4Children & Streatham Cats Rescue Group, and including some South London based artists.
The line-up is as follows:
Guitar Legend / Blues Rock Psychedelic Shredmeister - this Glam Punk Sleaze Rock Frontman is known for many things including stepping in & saving the day for Ozzy Osbourne in the aftermath of guitar legend Randy Rhoad's tragic death and hit records, world tours & international fame as Ian Gillan's guitaist.
Tormé also formed Desperado with Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider which also featured ex Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, and fronted his own band Electric Gypsies, and later Tormé, including Phil Lewis of the L.A. Guns/ Girl fame.
The Peckham Cowboys
"Looking like Dickensian urchins with a Faustian twist, and sounding like The Faces if Trent Reznor ever got hold of them, The Peckham Cowboys are not a band you'd trust to park your car" - Classic Rock.
The band's 2nd album 'Ten Tales From The Gin Palace' has just been released to critical acclaim - the band features founding members Marc Eden & Dale Hodgkinson who are joined by Timo Kaltio (Hanoi Rocks. Izzy Stradlin Band, Cheap & Nasty), Nigel Mogg (Quireboys), Duncan McKay (Primal Scream), and Ryan McCormick (Steven Adler Band).
Inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bonamassa and Clapton, Jimmy Owen is a hugely talented blues player who is a regular performer at the White Lion and London venues.
Music 4 Children is a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children worldwide break the negative cycles of homelessness, poverty, crime and abuse.
Streatham Cats Rescue is a small, volunteer group which has provided care and rehoming to cats in need since 1970.
The White Lion is a unique live music venue and bar located in a large Victorian building on Streatham High Road - nearest train stations are Streatham & Streatham Hill, the nearest tube is Tooting Bec.
