"Steelhouse is a a well-run, old school festival with a brilliant, friendly vibe, sets of reasonable duration and no annoying stage clashes. Should you get the chance to attend in 2014, grab it with both hands." - Dave Ling, Classic Rock Magazine.

Steelhouse is the only classic rock festival to feature two exclusive UK headline performances from Europe and the remaining members of Thin Lizzy, under their new moniker BLACK STAR RIDERS. With combined record sales of over 30 million albums and incredible live performances, Steelhouse 2014 promises to be the most prestigious music event in South Wales.

Swedish superstars EUROPE, best known for their multiplatinum selling album, The Final Countdown which spawned the single of the same name that went on to reach number one in the charts in 25 countries including the UK - have enjoyed a massive resurgence in popularity. Their last two albums Last Look At Eden and Bag Of Bones have received huge critical and commercial success.

Europe

Europe'S lead singer Joey Tempest, explains, "After playing in Wales back in 2012 we were reminded of what a great rock 'n' roll country this is. When we got the offer to play the Steelhouse we tried our hardest to make it happen. We've heard only great things about this Festival and we're coming over to do some real damage!"

Black Star Riders, featuring legendary Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham, will bring songs from their award-winning debut album All Hell Breaks Loose, along with Thin Lizzy classics including: The Boys Are Back In Town and Jailbreak, to the spectacular mountain top location in Blaenau Gwent.

Black Star Riders

"We're very excited about bringing Black Star Riders to the Steelhouse Festival in Wales" says Scott Gorham. "Steelhouse is our only UK festival appearance this year and I am stoked that we will be seeing our Welsh fans!"

"What a cool festival to headline" says Black Star Riders' frontman, Rick Warwick. "As a band with Celtic roots, it's always great to play; and turn it up loud through the Valleys in Wales."

Steelhouse is fast becoming one of the most exciting annual outdoor festivals in the UK that specialises in the crème de la crème of classic rock.

"We're on our way to establish an internationally recognised music event in the heart of the Welsh valleys," says Steelhouse Festival organiser, Matt Rhead. "While the headline artists get bigger and bigger each year, we'll continue to showcase the best up-and-coming talent alongside them. We've already confirmed Swansea based rising stars BUFFALO SUMMER, Bristol boys TAX THE HEAT and Gwent's finest BUCK & EVANS fresh from their show with SLASH in America. The combination of new acts and established bands is something that we are very proud of."

Many more acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets can be booked from the official festival website: www.steelhousefestival.com.

Day Tickets £40, Weekend Tickets £65. Children 14 and under FREE (accompanied by an adult 18+).
