For those of you into the punk and grindcore side, two new albums have been released this week as free downloads.

The first is called 'Jamat-al-mort' from Lahore's 'Multinational Corporations' (essentially Sheraz Ahmed from Dionysis with vocalist Hassan Dozakhi). Recorded in just four days, this 8 track album is true to grindcore's essential basics - very loud, very short and very angry!

Venting their frustration at the media, government, capitalism and extremism in Pakistan, a lot of us here in the West can identify with their protests. This pulls no punches, and is one to be played very very loud!

For those wanting physical copies, Sweden's Salute Records will release this as a CD in April and Extreme Noise Productions from Poland will be putting a cassette version out as well.

2. Jamat-al-Maut
3. Stratum Slave
4. Advertisement Overdose
5. L.P.C.

8. Penniless Pride

The second release is 'Haram Mausiqi Vol 1' - a Grindcore/Punk compilation put together by the aforementioned Hassan Dozakhi's Pakistan-based Eternal Abhorrence online Metal Magazine.

Featuring artists from the States, the UK and Europe as well as from Pakistan, India and Nepal the 25 tracks on this album showcase the best that the scene has to offer worldwide. Nottingham's Huffin Paint; Worcester's Cleansing Wave and Halifax, West Yorkshire's Burning Flag all feature tracks.
