British Metal bands Iron Knights and Def Con One team up for three shows in the UK this summer to promote their respective new albums 'Iron Knights' and 'II'.

The bands will play Derby, London and Newcastle in July. Advance tickets are available for Derby and London while Newcastle is pay on the door.

Def Con One is an established band founded over 10 years ago by guitarist Johnny Hunter and ex-Venom drummer Antton Lant. The band played at Bloodstock in 2011 after the release of their debut EP. A subsequent year of touring and gigging all over the UK saw their fanbase increase significantly, and Def Con One signed to Scarlet Records in 2012, releasing their debut album 'Warface' the same year and their second album 'II' in February 2014.

In 2013 Def Con One played at Hammerfest V, Wales; Les-Fest II, Scotland; and at the Headbangers Balls tour supporting Xentrix in Manchester and Hatebreed in Newcastle. This year Def Con One continue to promote the new album with shows across the UK and they are confirmed for Rock & Metal Circus Festival and Out of the Ashes Festival, with more shows to follow.

Iron Knights' new album was released on 5 May 2014 via Metalbox Recordings, and represents a new direction and sound for the band following a significant line-up change last year. In early 2013, the band played Hammerfest V and supported Vicious Rumors in Europe.

Since the line-up change, Iron Knights have played Swordbrothers Festival, Germany; supported Uli Jon Roth/Diamond Head on their co-headline show in London and are touring the UK throughout the year to promote the new album. Iron Knights are confirmed for Rock & Metal Circus Festival, with more shows to follow.

Iron Knights' self-titled album was released on Metalbox Recordings on 5 May 2014.

July shows:
24 July - Trillians, Newcastle
25 July - The Hairy Dog, Derby
26 July - The Garage, London
