||DORIAN SORRIAUX FROM BLUES PILLS PERFORMS A GUITAR PLAY-THROUGH OF THE BAND'S NEW TRACK
6 June 2014
The enchanting multicultural retro-rock 4 piece Blues Pills are set to release their new self-titled album on the 28th of July as well as performing a one-off, extremely intimate show at London at St. Pancras Old Church on the same day.
In anticipation of the release, the band recently revealed a track off the album titled 'High Class Woman' and today they are premiering a clip of their guitarist Dorian Sorriaux performing a guitar play-through, revealing the riffs and groove of the track in this tutorial.
'Blues Pills' has been produced by the renowned and respected Don Alsterberg (Graveyard), and the cover art was created by artist Marijke Koger-Dunham.The piece was originally painted in the 60s and never used - so with a slight adaptation to contain the Blues Pills logo, this kept with the band's authentic but youthful take on the richness of sixties soul and psychedelia.
