Recent events have forced a change in line-up for the upcoming Onslaught "Thrash Invasion 2014" UK tour. Steve 'Zetro' Souza, vocalist for Hatriot and former vocalist for classic Bay-area Thrashers Exodus has just rejoined Exodus, who are planning an imminent European tour which has clashing dates with the Onslaught tour.

India's biggest Metal band, Demonic Resurrection, who won the "Global Metal" award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards in 2010 and made their UK debut at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in 2012, will be replacing Hatriot on the UK Mainland shows with the exception of London.

One Machine will open the London show. One Machine is the brainchild of Steve Smyth, whose CV includes more than 20 years of combined service for Testament, Nevermore, Forbidden, Dragonlord and Vicious Rumors, all key names in the classic Bay-area Thrash Metal scene.

Denmark's Artillery, one of Europe's earliest exponents of Thrash Metal, remain as main support on all shows, and these will be their first UK shows since their inception in 1982.

London Thrashers Nightlord will join the bill in Bristol and London. Nightlord, originally, made their mark on "The Underground Titans Tour '92", still hailed to this day as the first truly underground Metal tour, and since their reformation in 2010 have gone on to share the stage with Sepultura, Onslaught, Gama Bomb and Annihilator.

Demonic Resurrection

Originally billed to play with Artillery in 1991, the band will finally be completing some unfinished business with them some 23 years later, before celebrating their 25 year anniversary later this year.

Onslaught are currently promoting their sixth album, entitled 'VI', and will be announcing the dates for the USA and Canada leg of the Thrash Invasion tour with Artillery and Striker on Wednesday July 8th.

Here's a fabulous Aerosmith pictorial document as seen through the lens of famed British photographer Tony Mottram. Tony photographed the band over many years for various magazines and now has a monthly column here on MetalTalk.

As was often the case, only one photo ever got published and in the fast moving world of weekly magazines sometimes entire sessions would be done and left undeveloped.

Tony started shooting Aerosmith from towards the end of the period with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay and onwards through the return of original members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford that resulted in the albums 'Done With Mirrors', 'Permanent Vacation' and 'Pump'.

As well as shooting the band several times in England, this collection includes images from a session at the band's rehearsal room in Boston. Littered throughout is a mixture of live and off stage photos including a selection of photos taken at London's famous Marquee club when they were joined on stage by Jimmy Page.

This limited edition hardback book, presented in a flight case and printed on silk paper, is an opportunity to own a unique selection of photos, most of which have never seen the light of day before.
