Inglorious have said they are intending to get busy writing songs for their second album. The follow up to February's self-titled debut album will be recorded in August with a Spring 2017 launch pencilled in on the Frontiers Music release schedule.

After racking up a plethora of glowing reviews for the debut album, the British hard rockers recently stormed Download Festival and proved what others who had seen them play live before already knew: they put on an amazing live show.

"After playing to what the crew said looked like 15,000 people, we were high as a kite. No feeling or buzz I have ever had in my life will compete with that immense feeling of pride and happiness," frontman Nathan James told us. Download highlights are set to air at 9.00pm local time on 25th and 26th June on Sky Arts in the UK, but a snippet of the band's performance can be seen here:

Inglorious have a busy touring schedule in front of them including Festival appearances, a European tour supporting Steel Panther and some UK shows with Dead Daisies. The band will also participate in the 2017 Monsters Of Rock Cruise in February and are sketching out US dates around that.

Confirmed UK/European dates are listed below, although note that they will also play a Ramblin' Man Fair promotional show at the Big Red rock bar in London on Monday 27th June and it's free entry.

MetalTalk's Liz Medhurst saw Inglorious at Download last weekend and here's the review of that performance plus a highly entertaining interview with the man himself, Nathan James. Who else would even dream of singing karaoke in Barnsley the same day they wowed the biggest crowd they had ever played to at Castle Donington... click here and read on...
