Maiden in Santiago on 11th March...

Iron Maiden's Book Of Souls World Tour began way back in late February when Bruce flew Ed Force One to Fort Lauderdale for the first gig of this epic adventure which has seen the band play sixty-nine gigs in six of the world's seven continents to over 1.5million fans in 36 countries.

There's just three gigs to go now - Bucharest, Romania tomorrow (Saturday 30th July) night, Luxembourg on Tuesday and Wacken on Thursday night, 4th August.

There can be no better place to finish a mammoth world tour than Wacken and Thursday's performance is already promising to be iconic and you can see for yourself as from 8.30pm UK time on Thursday, the whole show will be exclusively streaming worldwide on Livestream at www.concert.arte.tv/de/wacken and www.wacken.com.

Iron Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood told us: "We decided to finish the tour at Wacken as it is the ideal way to end this magical tour playing to 80,000 core Metal fans at this legendary Metal festival.

"Wacken has become such as international event with many thousands of fans from many other countries around the world joining and celebrating with the German fans so it is perfect for the final show of a memorable tour.

"Everywhere we've played the fans have been amazing and the reaction to the new songs and stage show has been phenomenal. The band has loved every minute on stage.

"So when Wacken and ARTE asked us to consider a live stream of our performance there we jumped at the chance to give our fans an end of tour gift. Streaming this final show live globally allows us to thank the many fans we played to so far, and, for those who couldn't get to see us this time round, a chance to see just how spectacular the live concert is and what they missed!"

Wolfgang Bergmann of ARTE said: "The festival summer by ARTE concert is heading for an exceptional highlight, showing a live stream of British legends Iron Maiden performing their final show of an incredible tour at the Wacken Open Air.

"An audience of millions, in Europe and for the first time worldwide, know by now that ARTE is taking the festivals to anywhere you are."

WACKEN WINTER NIGHTS IS HEAVY METAL WONDERLAND

wacken

Wacken Winter Nights 2018 takes place between February 23rd and 25th 2018 and the great news is that you can now experience a full-on, top class German Metal Festival easily and affordably.

It only takes an hour to fly to Hamburg from London and we've had longer journeys than that within the capital and they were certainly more expensive than the £33 air ticket that just appeared in our 'flights to Wacken Winter Nights' search.

Wacken Winter Nights is organised by the same team who are responsible for the world's greatest Metal festival, Wacken-Open-Air and the 2018 bill includes Skyclad, Orphaned Land, Elvenking, Finntroll, Grave Digger, Aeverium, Comes Vagantes, Coppelius, Corvus Corax, Die Pressgëng, Elvellon, Heimataerde, Hell-O-Matic, Ignis Fatuu, Ingrimm, Irdorath, Johnny Deathshadow, Krayenzeit, Letzte Instanz, Mr Hurley und die Pulveraffen, Pampatut, Pat Razket, Schandmaul, Sündenrausch, The Aberlour's, The Moon And The Nightspirit, Torfrock, Visions Of Atlantis, Vroudenspil, Wind Rose and more.

Besides this rich billing of superb Metal bands, there is so much more to see in the festival area including the medieval market and also the walking acts and jugglers you will meet at the theme worlds, including Robert Blake, three-time World Cup winner of street magic.

Wacken Winter Nights is something not to be missed and you can check out the amazing ticket and accommodation prices right here.

We just priced up the whole four day trip with hotels, flights, shuttles and festival tickets for less than £300 and we don't think you will get a better value festival than that, anywhere.
