Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running free weekly music program founded by Quiet Riots Chuck Wright, are holding a Tribute To Lemmy to honour the main man this Tuesday, August 23rd, at the Whisky A Go Go in LA. The show is free entrance.

The Tribute To Lemmy precedes the unveiling of a permanent Lemmy statue at the Rainbow Bar And Grill. Created by artist Travis Moore, the unveiling will be on Wednesday 24th August and Travis will also display his complete collection of Lemmy art work at the tribute.

This is looking like a big one with Lemmy and Motörhead fans from around the world expected to descend on the two days of Sunset Strip events. Thousands have already responded that they will be attending and some of rocks biggest "A list" players are expected to perform. Formal player announcements will be released in the coming days on

Tributes to Lemmy continue to pour in from everywhere and this is one of our favourites. It's Belgian buskers Blaas Of Glory putting their own unique take on 'Ace Of Spades'. Enjoy...

'Ace Of Spades' (the Motörhead version, not the Blaas Of Glory version) is being used as the soundtrack to the season two trailer of Starz's zombie series Ash Vs. Evil Dead. The song compliments the bloody trailer, which features a lot of gun action, limbs flying and the living dead being fended off with a chainsaw.

The series stars Bruce Campbell as Ash who fights zombies in the show. "We gave peace a chance, now it's time for war," he deadpans with guns a blazing ready for a fight.

Ash Vs. Evil Dead's second season will premiere on Starz in October, so fans will have a lot of time to dissect the violent, yet hilarious, trailer which you can see here.

If you're reading this you'll obviously be more than aware that the greatest rock n' roll band in the world did a lot more than their most famous song and we've unearthed some footage from a film that was made in 2002 and was only shown a handful of times. It's called Lemmy by Peter Sempel and it has never been released on video or DVD.

Lemmy himself said this about the movie in 2001: "Some time ago, Peter Sempel asked me if he could do a documentary film on me. I said OK. Almost three years later, it is finished and he showed it to me in October 2001. He's made a good job of it and in regard of his work I would be pleased to promote (interviews/limited personal appearances, my schedule with my band permitting) the finished product. He has my full support and admiration!"

Peter struggled to get distribution for the film and to get the DVD version on general sale so if you happen to own a film company and are interested in resurrecting this terrific movie, Peter can be contacted on

This clip really shows Lemmys character and is a rivetting good watch.

If you missed last weeks events at Bloodstock you can relive the moment when Phil formally opened the newly renamed Lemmy's Bar right here and have a look at Dee Sniders personal tribute to Lemmy when he guested with Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons the same night right here.

Phils newly monickered band are put on the road at the moment and are sounding pretty damn awesome and we're looking forward to seeing them again in London in November. Here's all the dates right here.

Before Phil set off on tour he guested on one track from the new album 'Witness' by Italian hard rock outfit Fake Idols. There's no video available just yet but hopefully we will have something for you next time we do a Motörhead update.

Swedish casino games developer NetEnt have released a trailer for the third game in its Rocks series, which will be based on Motörhead.

Gabbi Langdorf, senior licensing manager at Global Merchandising Services told us: "The Motörhead brand is synonymous with high-octane music and has one of the last real iconic logos in music. 'Ace Of Spades', which will be included as a soundtrack, couldn't be a better theme song to this style of gaming and we hope not only fans, but the gaming public will appreciate the fantastic game mechanics that NetEnt are producing."

The new Motörhead online slot, which will feature a soundtrack with the bands most popular songs, along with plenty of bonus features that reference the groups work, will be available at online casinos in September.

The official product description reads: "No band epitomizes rock and roll more than the legendary Motörhead and now NetEnt have brought them to the reels! Join the one and only Ian Fraser 'Lemmy' Kilmister and the boys in this rockin' video slot that is the latest instalment in the NetEnt 'Rocks' series.

"Motörhead Video Slot is a 5-reel, 76-line (fixed) video slot with Free Spins, Wild substitutions, a Bomber feature and a Mystery Reel feature. It's time to turn on the speakers, crank up the volume to the max and experience the excitement of Motörhead Video Slot!"

NetEnt's Rocks series includes the Guns N' Roses online slot which came out in January and the Jimi Hendrix slot which was launched in April.

And here's the trailer for the Motörhead Video Slot.

And finally for now, the Motörhead family are currently revamping the official Motörhead website and it's already looking pretty special. "We're building what we envision to be the ultimate, official website. We intend to keep the memory of Lemmy and the band alive and well for many years to come," they say.

We'll drink to that...

"Home is in here [tapping temple]. Where you live is just a geographical preference."
