Biff Byford said: "It's great to have Phil back out with us after so many great tours together with Motörhead. Let me feel your power!"

Phil formed Phil Campbell's All Starr Band after he and sons Todd, Dane and Tyla, along with vocalist Neil Starr played together at a party and now it's getting serious.

"We had a big party for Todd's birthday a few years ago and we played a few cover songs and had a jam. It sounded so good we decided to start a band," said Phil.

And they played Wacken this year, smashing into a full set just before Iron Maiden headlined the night and finished off their Book Of Souls World Tour. Later that evening Motörhead's Bomber made it's final flight during Wacken's tribute to Lemmy.

Just one hour before the band hit Wacken's hallowed boards, they announced a name change to Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons and now their debut self-titled five track EP will be released by Motörhead Music on November 18th.

Todd Campbell produced the EP at their own Stompbox Studios in Wales and it was mixed by Motörhead's producer Cameron Webb.

The EP includes the speedy biker-charged refrain of 'No Turning Back', the crunchy catchy jump of 'Big Mouth' and the bombastic balladry of 'Life In Space'.

As well as the Saxon tour, you can catch the band at the following dates where they will be mainly headlining.
