The Steelhouse Festival 2017, which will run between 29th and 30th July 2017, have announced five more fantastic confirmed acts, Last In Line, featuring Vinnie Appice and Vivian Campbell formerly of the Dio band, Steve Harris British Lion, Jared James Nichols, King King and Tequila Mockingbyrd.

Promoter Max Rhead said: "For me personally, this is one of the best announcements we've made over the seven year history of the Steelhouse. I was a massive Dio fan growing up, and although very sadly Ronnie is no longer with us, Vivian Campbell and Vinnie Appice are keeping these incredible songs alive. 'Holy Diver' on the mountain-top - I can't wait!"

Last In Line started as a casual reunion jam between these two original members of the Dio band and has grown into a fully-fledged project that has taken on a life of its own. Vinnie Appice and Vivian Campbell were Ronnie Dio's co-writers on 'Holy Diver', 'Last In Line' and 'Sacred Heart', albums that have gone on to become part of Heavy Metal history.

Iron Maiden founder and leader Steve Harris' solo band British Lion are delivering a more classic rock sound that's unmistakably British.

Multi-award winning Glaswegian blues rock band King King are fronted by Alan Nimmo and are currently the hottest draw in British blues rock and were voted British Blues Awards best blues band in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and winning best album in 2014 for 'Standing In Shadows' and in 2016 for 'Reaching For The Light'.

The band said: "We can't wait to play at this fantastic festival. It's a real honour to be in amongst such a legendary line-up. I'm getting my walking boots on... we're going up the mountain."

Singer, songwriter, guitarist Jared James Nichols will bring his own brand of American hard rock all the way from Wisconsin to the Welsh mountain-top next summer. Jared is the fastest rising star in the west and has made massive waves since his first UK gigs a couple of years ago.

All girl Aussie power trio Tequila Mockingbyrd play straight-up rock'n'roll, packing a high energy punch that will hit from the first explosion of sound until long into the after-party. The band said: "We're beyond excited to be heading back to Wales to rock the mountain at Steelhouse 2017. That's one off the bucket list - we cannot wait!"

This will be the seventh consecutive year for the Steelhouse Festival [The Welsh International Classic Rock Festival], which aims to be the UK's best value rock festival. This family friendly event has built up a true following and a real heritage of its own over the six previous successful years.

Saxon were previously added to the bill as Sunday headliners and they'll be doing an exclusive 'Eagle' production. Inglorious and Broken Witt Rebels were also previously announced.

Saxon's full 'Eagle' production will be the only such show they will do in the UK in Summer 2017. It's the 'Return Of The Eagle' and it's bound to be spectacular!

Biff told us: "It's really great to be asked back to Steelhouse Festival to headline for a second time. We're bringing the Eagle back to the mountain, so bring on the Heavy Metal thunder."
