Murray Engleheart, noted AC/DC authority and one of Australia's most respected music writers, has stated that AC/DC will record a new album and tour again with Axl Rose as frontman.

The news comes as no real surprise as respected Brazilian journalist José Norberto Flesch stated the same just after Cliff Williams' final gig at Philadelphia in September 2016. You can see what José said right here.

And here's the post from Murray Engleheart:

Because Cliff has now retired, a new bass player will be joining the band for their future endeavours. We speculated on who could replace Cliff when he announced he was calling it a day and you can see who we think the contenders are right here.

Axl is currently busy touring with Guns N' Roses until July and fellow Gunner Richard Fortus has confirmed they're planning a new album too when he told StageLeft podcast:

"We haven't started recording anything, when I say that, as far as in the studio doing an album. We've been recording a lot of stuff, just ideas, assembling ideas, but not going into a studio and actually tracking a new record.

"It's sort of too good not to happen at this point, that's how I feel about it."

AC/DC co-founder Malcolm Young sadly passed away in November 2017. Stevie Young took Malcolm's place on the 'Rock Or Bust' world tour which devastated millions across the globe in 2015 and 2016.
