EXCLUSIVE:ALAZKA TALK ABOUT THE SONGS THAT INSPIRED THEM 4th September 2017
Recklinghausen, Germany-based post-hardcore act Alazka had their upcoming debut album, 'Phoenix', released on 1st September via Arising Empire & SharpTone Records.
Here, in our exclusive interview with the band, they talk about the songs that have inspired them on the journey that culminated in 'Phoenix'.
Alazka recently released the music video for their single, 'Ghost', which is taken from Phoneix' and in case you missed it the first time around, here it is again:
The band collectively told us:
"'Ghost' is one of our more straight forward songs. It's message is quite simple. If your past haunts you like a ghost it's most likely because you can't let go of it yourself. We have to take a second glance and try to embrace it to set ourselves free and move forward."
Alazka have recently announced their headline tour through Europe for September 2017. They will be supported by Swedish alternative rock/Metal outfit Imminence and Texas' hottest Pop Punk newcomers, Across The Atlantic.
The band commented:
"We're more than excited to finally present you our new album, 'Phoenix', on this tour and we're really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and hopefully some new ones!
"We're also very happy to bring the guys in Imminence and Across The Atlantic with us, two very talented, energetic bands! We can't wait to get this going and show you what we've been working on for so long!"
