It's a phenomenal time for Alice Cooper, whose new album 'Paranormal' topped the charts worldwide, just a day after the legendary rock icon took over the main stage at Wacken Open Air, the biggest Metal festival in the world, where he was greeted by over 80,000 excited fans.

Alice finished his performance with his version of Motörhead classic 'Ace Of Spades' and you can see what happened and watch the whole performance right here.

During the festival promoter's press conference, Alice was asked to share his memories of Lemmy and surprised everybody by offering a donation of $10,000 to the Wacken Foundation on one condition: the amount would be spent to give a new talented band the chance to record in a professional studio for the first time, to be one day "the new Alice" or "the new Lemmy".

Wacken founder Thomas Jensen then reciprocated by promising that he would offer the band the opportunity to play in front of the Wacken audience.

Alice's new album, 'Paranormal', has entered the iTunes rock charts at number one in twelve countries and hit the top five in another twenty countries. These positions are among the highest for Alice in the last thirty years.

Alice's manager Shep Gordon commented:

"Working with the earMUSIC team made me remember the days when record companies really contributed to the work and success of an artist."

earMUSIC General Manager Max Vaccaro commented:

"Alice Cooper shaped the way rock music is today: incredible song-writing, dry humour, high level art references - so perfectly mixed with street codes and provocation –all qualities that anybody with a remote interest in popular music can find on Alice's historical albums.

"Shep Gordon's management and view of entertainment is art itself to our eyes: to think that we could write together a chapter of Alice's history is something we could not be prouder of."

After an absolutely stunning performance at Wacken last weekend, catching Alice on his forthcoming UK tour is an absolute must. The Mission and The Tubes are supporting and the dates are as follows.

11th November: Leeds - First Direct Arena
12th November: Glasgow - The SSE Hydro
