Arch Enemy's sharp upward trajectory hit a brand new level on Sunday evening as a captivated Bloodstock crowd witnessed what was easily their best ever UK performance.

The Alissa White-Gluz fronted Arch Enemy, now in their twenty-first year of existence, showcased just one song from forthcoming new album, 'Will To Power', the already released 'The World Is Yours', which they opened their set with. They then proceeded to deliver five songs from previous album 'War Eternal' with the remainder of the set being made up of songs from the Angela Gossow era.

Arch Enemy have just announced their 'Will To Power' European tour dates this morning which include five UK shows and you can rest assured that the setlist will be radically different come September when the tour begins as the new album is without a doubt their best work to date. Click here for the tour dates.

We'll have much more on 'Will To Power', which is out on 8th September via Century Media Records and we'll also be unveiling a full length conversation with Michael and Alissa in the near future but for now, rest assured that after last night's superb performance at Bloodstock, the 'Will To Power' tour is an absolute must-see.

Earlier on the Sophie stage, Italian Power Metallers Arthemis returned to Bloodstock and made a huge statement with a rousing set of skilful numbers that simply wowed the audience.

It's been a hard slog for Arthemis since they first came to prominence in Britain almost a decade ago but the hard work is paying off now as they have become a finely honed unit with killer songs that showcase the incredibly high standard of musicanship within their ranks.

Vocalist Fabio Dessi has become the consummate frontman and the hugely impressed crowd needed little encouragement to join in with his every move while slick six-stringer Andy Martongelli is his perfect foil, providing a visual cacophony to accompany these memorable melodies.

Arthemis are now ready for Metal's biggest stages and they absolutely deserve it after putting in one of the very best shows of Bloodstock 2017.
