Colwell, or Bucket as he is more commonly known, tells MetalTalk:

"I have been playing other countries a lot this year and wanted to do a Christmas gig for friends and fans who have supported us.

"We will be playing several songs from my solo album, 'Guitars, Beers & Tears', along with favourites from my time in Bad Company, Humble Pie and other affiliated bands.

"It's a bit of a warm-up gig before my New Zealand tour with my pals Rick and Ronan."

As he mentioned, Bucket will be touring throughout New Zealand in January with the band Rock Steady featuring members from the multi platinum selling bands Bad Company and Foreigner in an all-star classic rock supergroup playing the hits of Bad Company, Free and Foreigner.

Joining Bucket will be musicians Rick Wills, formerly of Foreigner, vocalist Ronan Kavanagh and special guests and Kiwi Legends Gordon Joll and Bruce Madden.
