Iron Maiden are to release 'The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter' via Warner Music on November 17th worldwide and BMG in the USA.

The live opus comprises fifteen songs recorded during 'The Book Of Souls World Tour', which saw the band visit thirty-nine countries across six continents during 2016 and 2017, and was seen by over two million fans.

'The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter' will be released physically in CD, deluxe CD and vinyl audio formats, with the concert film available to stream free online or as a digital download – full details below.

Produced by Tony Newton and Iron Maiden founder and bass player Steve Harris, the album is based on this year's setlist and is a faithful record of the epic show, including six songs from 'The Book Of Souls’, along with many other Maiden classics and fan favourites.

Steve Harris said:

"We spent a huge amount of time working on this as I wanted to get it as close to the Maiden live experience as I possibly could and to represent our fans from different parts of the world.

"This meant listening to literally hours upon hours of tapes from every show, to select material and construct a sound that would run consistently across the whole album and capture the excitement of a new country like El Salvador alongside such regular favourites as Donington or Wacken."

Maiden manager Rod Smallwood added:

"'The Book Of Souls World Tour' was a huge undertaking, not least for Bruce who started the tour singing in public for the very first time since recovering from throat cancer.

"He also piloted Ed-Force One, upgraded last year from a Boeing 757 to a 747 so we could go further and faster to visit some fantastic cities and fans all round the world. This year continued that excitement bringing us our most successful North American and UK tours ever.

"It was a very special tour in a great many ways so we felt we wanted to document it for both ourselves and for our fans. Steve has done an incredible job putting together this set from cities around the world and we've made sure the deluxe CD will be available in a matching book format to 'The Book Of Souls' release.

"On top of all that the release will be celebrated by an event that is a Maiden first: a free live streaming premiere of the concert film, as a thank you to our loyal fans around the world.

"We hope that the global Maiden community will all enjoy coming together to watch this special event online. Many of you will be in it as there is footage from a whole host of the places we played on this momentous tour."

More details on how to take part in this one-off event will be available soon.

Iron Maiden's first ever official comic book series is now available for pre-order and will be launched on 11th October, available at comic book retailers everywhere.

You can pre-order yours right here.

'Iron Maiden: Legacy Of The Beast' comes from leading US science fiction, fantasy and horror publishers Heavy Metal Publishing and is based on Maiden's hit mobile role playing game, 'Iron Maiden: Legacy Of The Beast', where players battle as Eddie across the many worlds of Iron Maiden's discography, from the ancient sands of Powerslave to the far flung future of The Final Frontier.

Comprising five fantastic issues, with an overarching narrative and incredible illustrations, 'Iron Maiden: Legacy Of The Beast' is written by Llexi Leon and Ian Edginton, with art from Kevin J West, Jason Gorder and Santi Casas. The first issue goes on sale worldwide from comic retailers everywhere on October 11th, but is available to pre-order online now right here.

The comic book series expands on the video game narrative. As dark forces conspire to corrupt the fabric of reality, Eddie's immortal soul is shattered and strewn across the cosmos – leaving a weakened, primal Eddie to battle across space and time facing off against the twisted legions of The Beast, seeking out the lost shards of his soul, and bringing order to the realms. With each victory, and with the aid of old friends, Eddie will restore his fearsome powers as he draws ever closer to facing the Unholy foe behind his fall... and thwarting a plot to unravel all of creation.

Jeff Krelitz, CEO of Heavy Metal says:

"As a lifelong fan of Iron Maiden, it is a privilege to publish the first official comic giving a narrative to their iconic mascot, Eddie. Heavy Metal's near half-century-long history of either working with or launching the careers of only the most accomplished artists continues here with the amazing team Iron Maiden has working on this series."

Llexi Leon, Interactive Creative Director at Phantom Music Management says:

"After forty years of unbridled creativity, innovation, and attitude, Heavy Metal has always been a home to the greatest talent in sequential storytelling and fantasy art. With a natural affiliation to the heavy music genre, it's a nexus point for counter culture and alternative arts. I can think of no better partner to explore Iron Maiden's Mythology and expand the Legacy Of The Beast!"

The official launch of the first issue is October 11th, at comic retailers everywhere. However, you can preorder a copy online right here and get all the action delivered through your mailbox.
