Liv Sin is heading back to the UK next month, as special guests of American Head Charge. The Swedish Metal Queen is touring in support of her acclaimed new album, 'Follow Me', her debut solo release.

After a successful thirteen year career, Sister Sin called it a day in 2015. Undeterred, frontwoman and musical force of nature Liv Sin formed a new band and began work on her solo album.

Liv comments:

"For me, it has never been an option to stop singing. I live for the stage and for my fans. I still miss Sister Sin, but I am very excited to work on my own project, and I can promise it will not be some soft pop rock. This is going to be Metal deluxe, because that's who I am!"

Co-produced by long time Accept and U.D.O. member Stefan Kaufmann and U.D.O. bassist Fitty Wienhold, 'Follow Me' captures Liv at the peak of her abilities.

On the collaboration with Stefan, Liv states:

"I'm truly excited to work with Stefan. He is an incredible musician and a long time Metal hero. I think he brings that extra bit to my music with his lifelong experience from both Accept and U.D.O."

Kaufmann adds:

"When Liv called me and asked to produce her new project together with Fitty, of course I said 'yes'! Liv has talent, and I am sure it will be a blast."

MetalTalk's Mark Taylor spoke to Liv about the her new adventure, the break-up of Sister Sin and how she keeps herself fit on the road while declaring that "Alcohol is very damaging".

Liv Sin's album 'Follow Me' is out now on Despotz Records.

Here's a fabulous Aerosmith pictorial document as seen through the lens of famed British photographer Tony Mottram. Tony photographed the band over many years for various magazines and now has a monthly column here on MetalTalk.

As was often the case, only one photo ever got published and in the fast moving world of weekly magazines sometimes entire sessions would be done and left undeveloped.

Tony started shooting Aerosmith from towards the end of the period with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay and onwards through the return of original members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford that resulted in the albums 'Done With Mirrors', 'Permanent Vacation' and 'Pump'.

As well as shooting the band several times in England, this collection includes images from a session at the band's rehearsal room in Boston. Littered throughout is a mixture of live and off stage photos including a selection of photos taken at London's famous Marquee club when they were joined on stage by Jimmy Page.

This limited edition hardback book, presented in a flight case and printed on silk paper, is an opportunity to own a unique selection of photos, most of which have never seen the light of day before.

This unique item is presented in an aluminium flight case and will be published in late November. Earlybird subscribers who order by 31st October will have their name printed within a dedicated page in the book.
