Liv Sin just came home after a European tour which saw them play in the UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium and next week they'll be heading off on a major tour of Spain.

The album 'Follow Me' was recently released and this was co-produced by long-time Accept and U.D.O. member Stefan Kaufmann and U.D.O. bassist Fitty Wienhold and today, November 17th 2017, the video for 'King Of The Damned' is premiering on MetalTalk right here:

Written about a subject very close the Liv and the band's heart, 'King Of The Damned' is a call for the world to wake up and see the beauty we are destroying every day. Proceeds from the single sales via Liv Sin's Bandcamp page will be donated to Swedish animal rights organisation Djurens rätt.

The album shows the power and attitude that Liv is known for and also features artists such as Schmier from Destruction and Jyrki 69 from The 69 Eyes.

Liv got the inspiration for the lyrics to 'King Of The Damned' from Nick Brandt's picture of Cecil the Lion from the exhibition 'Inherit The Dust', a photo exhibition where Brandt revisited places where he used to take pictures of the wildlife that shows how these landscapes have now turned into wastelands filled with piles of garbage.

Liv says:

"This is extremely depressing and not flattering for mankind. Unfortunately this is the way we are heading if we do nothing. Remember 'Lion King'? Well, soon there is not going to be any King of the Jungle left. The few lions left will become the King of the Damned instead."

From the gutters of southern Sweden, Liv Jagrell emerged as the major force and vocalist of the hard rock band Sister Sin. Throughout their thirteen year career, Sister Sin sold thousands of records and toured the world with high-profile tours, including supporting Slayer and King Diamond on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

Sister Sin toured relentlessly for over a decade across Europe and North America garnering an intensely loyal following of rockers that craved the band's aggressive and melodic brand of hard rock.

When Sister Sin called it quits at the end of 2015, Liv knew that she had much more to offer the world and her fans. From this, Liv Sin was born in the spring of 2017.

MetalTalk interviewed Liv extensively back in August about the her new adventure, the break-up of Sister Sin and how she keeps herself fit on the road while declaring that: "Alcohol is very damaging". Here's the interiew in full:

Liv Jagrell - Vocals
Patrick Ankemark - Lead Guitar
