The line-up for this year's Ozzfest Meets Knotfest is now here and Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Prophets Of Rage and Stone Sour are the main features of the festival that will take place in California on November 4th and 5th.

Ozzfest Meets Knotfest takes place at the Glen Helen Amphitheater And Festival Grounds in San Bernardino with Ozzfest running on Saturday 4th November and Knotfest taking over on Sunday 5th November.

The Ozzfest main stage will be headlined by Ozzy Osbourne with Prophets Of Rage, Deftones, Children Of Bodom and Orange Goblin also performing while the Knotfest main stage will be headlined by Rob Zombie with Marilyn Manson, Stone Sour, Eighteen Visions and Prayers also playing on the day.

Ozzy said:

"Last year's show with Black Sabbath was just incredible and I'm thrilled to be coming back this year with Zakk, Tommy, Blasko and Adam to headline the 21st anniversary of Ozzfest."

Sharon Osbourne added:

"Ozzfest Meets Knotfest is coming back for another round. Last year we had over 75,000 people attend and we have another great line-up this year with Ozzy's first solo show in LA in more than six years. This is not just another show. It's Ozzfest Meets Knotfest and this year's event means the world to me as we'll be amongst friends like Prophets Of Rage, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Marilyn Manson and Stone Sour. It's going to be another amazing weekend."

Corey Taylor had previously stated that Slipknot would not headline Knotfest this year but revealed he would take to the stage with Stone Sour instead.

"Knotfest was never supposed to be exclusively about Slipknot. It was always about the things that fuelled the spirit of Slipknot: music, art, passion, insanity, and the tribes that give it power. So it would make sense for Knotfest to carry on these ideas, even without Slipknot. Because these things are the gasoline of creativity, and there's plenty to go around, with plenty of great bands, acts and things to see.

"Teaming up again with Ozzfest means another weekend of the biggest, baddest, loudest and best. I hope you all will join us it's going to be sick."

Slipknot's Shawn 'Clown' Crahan added:

"It's that incredible time again where Ozzfest and Knotfest meet up to bring all music fans together for two days of rock'n'roll. Let's not forget the beautiful culture we are involved in and the history that is being written. Join the true passion of our concepts. I'll see you there. Stay sick."

Monsters Of Rock In Full Flight is strictly limited to 300 worldwide and is available from 30th November but those ordering before 31st October will have their name published within a dedicated page in the book.

It's a deluxe 128 page hardback book in a metal flight case with a narrative by Jerry Bloom.

When promoter Paul Loasby put on the first Monsters Of Rock Festival in 1980 he could probably never have imagined it would become an annual event that would endure for so many years.

Featuring bands from the UK, Germany, Canada and USA, Loasby chose to stage the event at the Donington race circuit in the middle of England and it would prove to be a defining moment for many of the bands on the bill.

Not least for headliners Rainbow as it was the their last ever show to feature drum legend Cozy Powell. As it would happen it turned out to be the last for vocalist Graham Bonnet as well. For many of the other bands on the bill such as Scorpions, Judas Priest and Saxon, they were all on the ascendancy and would soon go on to even greater success.

Now in celebration of this first ever Monsters Of Rock Festival comes this hardback book full of glorious photos of the bands that took to the stage for that inaugural event including back stage shots. Most of these shots have not been published before which add to the uniqueness of this deluxe 128-page book which is packaged in its own flight case.

Also included are stories surrounding the event with tales and recollections from those who were there, including artists and fans alike. Each book will be signed by the author. The 300 will sell fast and definitely go on to become collector's items so order yours now right here to avoid disappointment.
