OZZY OSBOURNE OVERDOSED WHEN SHARON HAD CANCER
9th January 2017

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's daughter, Kelly, has revealed in her upcoming book, 'There Is No F*cking Secret', that the Black Sabbath singer overdosed when Sharon suffered a seizure while being treated for cancer.

"Dad was there in his boxers, and I watched him scoop his hands into a bowl of pills, swallow a handful of something, and then wash it down with vodka," says Kelly about the time she ran to tell her father they needed to go to the hospital.

Later in the ambulance, "he leaned over to put his hand out to see if Mum was breathing. Then he passed out with his hand over her mouth. The EMTs tried to pull him off, and Dad, not knowing where he was or what he was doing, started to resist out of habit. They pulled over the ambulance and started to call the police."

Kelly says she begged them not to call the police and they agreed, but she had to tie Ozzy's hands to a bar so the medics could restrain him.

Sharon was placed in one room and Ozzy was rushed to another for treatment of a drug overdose and alcohol poisoning when they arrived at the hospital.

"Dad could not handle the thought of losing Mum," Kelly continues. She adds that Ozzy had a doctor come to the house and "shoot him up with whatever he wanted while the [doctor's] son sat in our dining room and played video games."

Kelly also credits the late comic Robin Williams, saying he visited Sharon when she was "losing her cancer fight" and helped save her life. Williams, she says, "climbed into bed with her. He stayed there all afternoon, and throughout the house, you could hear her cackling with laughter. Shortly after he left, she told us that she'd decided to go back and finish chemo. Robin Williams helped save Mum's life."

The book is written in open-letter form, with letters to Joan Rivers, racists and her vagina, and covers topics including dating and drugs and addiction. It is released on April 25th and available for pre-order on Amazon right here.
