midnight ghost train

The Midnight Ghost Train is rolling again and the band's fourth opus, 'Cypress Ave.', is set to be released on July 28th 2017 on Napalm Records.

It's their most diverse and suprising album to date and today 'The Watcher's Nest' is premiering right here on MetalTalk.

Never before have The Midnight Ghost Train shown this side of themselves. 'Cypress Ave.' proves that they're not just another rock band, they're explorers, risk takers and true artists. This is not a departure, but an expansion, and will please both old and new fans alike.

The band released their first music video from 'Cypress Ave.' for the track 'Red Eyed Junkie Queen' recently and in case ypu missed it first time around, here it is again.

Vocalist and guitarist Steve Moss told us about 'Red Eyed Junkie Queen':

"This video is a way to show fans what it's like inside the studio with us, a sort of behind the scenes video. We took some cameras into the studio, and just shot random acts, and different pieces of the process over the course of the two weeks we were in there.

"Believe it or not, this is by far the heaviest song on the album. The driving heaviness of it it just seemed to fit the feel of working in the studio."
